FAO as a Knowledge Organization

Collecting, analysing, interpreting and disseminating agricultural-related data and information has been a central activity of FAO since the inception of the Organization. FAO attaches paramount importance to securing the highest standards of efficiency and of technical competence in the appointment of its staff.
