GFAR Statutory Meetings

The Global Forum on Agricultural Research (hosted by FAO in Rome, Italy) held its Statutory Meetings in Beijing from 28th of November till 1st December 2007. The GFAR secretariat had launched prior to this meeting an electronic consultation on GFAR's program of activities for 2008 and beyond.

Additional regional reports show what is happening in different parts of the world: AARINENA (Middle East and North Africa); APAARI (Asia and Pacific); FARA (Africa); and FORAGRO (Latin America).

b) GFAR has started in November Agrifeeds, the agricultural news and events aggregator. Agrifeeds is the new service realized to provide an aggregated view of news and events in the area of agriculture, harvested from several sources, and an easy way to customise and re-use the aggregated information. The service has been developed by FAO in partnership with CGIAR, CTA, GFAR, GFIS and IAALD.
