Farmer organisations and farmers often encounter difficulties accessing finance, both for their own needs and for those of their members. To overcome them, they adopt different strategies, including the creation of alliances with financial institutions.What are the advantages of this approach? What are the risks? SOS Faim Zoom Microfinance attempt to answer these questions using four different cases: two in Senegal, one in Mali and one in Latin America.
